1.
Marriage Counseling
Marriage counseling with a solution-oriented, Chassidic approach places the marriage itself at the center—an eternal bond reflecting a higher purpose. Rather than focusing on individual wants, this path teaches couples to put the relationship first, recognizing it as a sacred space where the Shechinah (Divine Presence) rests. By shifting focus from “me” to “we,” and embracing practical steps rooted in love, respect, and shared goals, couples can strengthen their connection and build a home filled with harmony, meaning, and
G-dliness.
2.
Individual Counseling
Individual counseling with an empathetic, solution-oriented approach, infused with Chassidus, focuses on moving forward with clarity and purpose. Rooted in the belief that every soul has a unique mission, this approach empowers you to tap into your G-d-given strengths and take practical steps toward growth. Rather than dwelling on the past, we focus on what you can do today—building healthy habits, shifting thought patterns, and aligning your actions with your higher self. With warmth, encouragement, and tools from both psychology and Chassidic teachings, you can grow with purpose and direction.
3.
Family Counseling
Family counseling, blending classical techniques with the depth of Chassidus, offers a practical and uplifting path toward greater connection and harmony. Each family member learns to express themselves and listen effectively, while enabling the family to work together as a cohesive unit. Combined with Chassidic perspectives, the process encourages families to see challenges as opportunities for connection, not division. The focus is on building a supportive home
environment through consistency, respect, and shared values. The goal is for the family to grow stronger together, with clarity, empathy, and purpose.

Meet Aharon Schmidt
Aharon Schmidt grew up in the sunny coastal town of Laguna Beach, California. He earned his B.A. in English and American Literature from the University of California at Santa Cruz, where his love for stories and search for meaning began to take shape. After college, he set out on a journey of exploration, traveling through Australia, Southeast Asia, India and Europe, seeking both adventure and deeper meaning.

His travels eventually brought him to Israel, where at first, it was just a stop along his travels—but everything changed. Over five transformative months, Aharon became deeply moved by the spiritual richness of the Land, the warmth of its people, and the depth of Jewish tradition. What began as a visit turned into a turning point. He later enrolled in yeshiva and received Rabbinic Ordination, dedicating himself to learning and personal growth.

With a passion for helping others, Aharon pursued training in counseling through the Refuah Institute, where he studied under Dr. Yehoshua Ritchie and earned a diploma in integrative counseling techniques. He continued to deepen his skills in marriage counseling under the guidance of Rabbi Yitzchak Arad, learning to blend practical tools with insight and empathy.

Today, Aharon serves as the editor of Living Jewish, a weekly Chabad publication, and is the author of the popular advice column Farbrengen, where he offers thoughtful guidance on marriage, parenting, personal challenges, and everyday life.
In addition, Aharon is the CEO of Insight Executive Search. Aaron has worked in the field of executive search for 25 years and has worked with many of the nation’s most highly regarded research and nonprofit institutions, representing nationally regarded experts in a variety of fields.
